Graduate Program in Political Science (Master's and Doctoral Degrees)

 

Program Description

The Graduate Program in Political Science (PPG-CP) of the Institute of Political Science (IPOL) of the University of Brasilia was created in 1984, initially with the Master's level. In 2008, the activities of the Doctoral program began. The IPOL has established itself today as one of the most important and innovative education and research institutes in the country in the area of Political Science. The Institute maintains its tradition of academic excellence in teaching and research, favoring a plural approach to Political Science.

Master's and doctoral programs favor a rigorous and diverse academic background. Numerous research and extension activities are encouraged and carried out each semester by the program, which aims to train top-level master's and doctoral staff to work in various professional areas of Brazilian society, economy and politics.
