Clinical and Cultural Psychology (Master's and Doctoral Degrees)
Program Description
The Graduate Program in Clinical and Cultural Psychology offers PhD and Master's programs and presents remarkable diversity of approaches in Clinical Psychology, contemplating rigorous reflections on its epistemological basis, methodological options and its insertion in culture and society. Since its creation, the Program has developed actions that have resulted in participation in international research cooperation projects. Several national and international events have been promoted by our researchers.
This program aims to: ensure the existence of a Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology and Culture, filling a gap in this area in the Brazilian Midwest region and in the country; disseminate and strengthen the influence of UnB in the area of Clinical Psychology and Culture Studies and encourage the production of knowledge in the Brazilian Midwest region, along with to the North and Northeast regions; increase the production of knowledge in the area of Human Sciences, emphasizing and fostering the contribution of Clinical Psychology in the multidisciplinary debate about culture.
