Program Description

The Professional Master's in Public Administration course is part of the Graduate Program in Administration of the University of Brasilia. The general objective is to train professionals capable of acting critically and reflexively in research, teaching in Administration and in the management of direct or indirect public administration organizations. Three specific objectives guide the program, namely, developing critical thinking of professionals related to public administration, both direct and indirect, providing training that involves teaching and research in public administration, and developing intervention capacity in their students, with a view to fostering improvements in public administration in the country.

The program has strong relations with governmental agencies, third sector organizations and private companies. The faculty consists of 14 professors, several of whom act in different bodies of Public Administration, such as the Presidency of the Republic, the National Postal Service, the Ministry of Planning, the National School of Public Administration, and the Federal Senate.
